The author, Tommie Council, is a U.S.A. based writer, business consultant, marketing guru, and Google expert who has provided his services to dozens of businesses on a wide variety of subjects. He has established working relationships with several local businesses and continues to support them in a variety of functions such as marketing, ethics, management, and inventory control. Additionally, he has helped some of them implement Google products in several areas to create synergy within their office environment.
Tommie is a huge Google enthusiast and has studied several of the company’s products, particularly Google’s search algorithm and related products as he creates a monthly newsletter for a local publication in which he offers tips and techniques. In addition to the newsletter, he is a Webmaster of a popular writing site. Hundreds of people a day from across the globe visit that site to obtain tips on writing, personal letters, business letters, and more.
His ongoing mission is expand and further his business relationships, share the knowledge that he has, make the most out of new experiences, and to pass these hard working ethics along to his kids.
Tommie was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He attended local schools until graduating from Davenport University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a 3.89GPA. He meant his wife, Blair, during high school whom he married when they were both in their early 20’s. After graduating he moved to Reno, Nevada where he spent several years until having to move back to Michigan due to his veteran father having a stroke. As a result, Tommie has a strong passion and a desire to assist veterans and holds a special spot in his heart for senior citizens and accommodates them whenever possible.
In his free time, he likes to spend time with his wife and six kids – Cierra, Savannah, Tyler, Parker, Zackary, and Lennon. He also likes to restore vintage cars, collect Coca-Cola memorabilia, fish, travel, and is an avid fan of the NFL’s Detroit Lions, MLB’s Detroit Tigers, and the NHL’s Detroit Red Wings. His two dogs, Perch and Peep, along with his cat, Ralphie, bring him much joy and happiness. He believes in giving back to the community and helps senior citizens and veterans whenever possible as well as giving regularly to the Wounded Warrior Project.
